In accordance with the Education Department policy our School Voluntary Contributions are $60/child/year, this can be paid in cash or eftpos at the front office. This money goes towards the provision of educational resources for your child’s education.

This following outlines the determination of contributions and charges for materials, services and facilities in relation to educational programs, as endorsed by the EMPS School Council in November 2015.
Section 99 – Voluntary Contributions
A limit of $60 per child exists in the Regulations.
Contribution for 2016:
K – Year 6: $60 each student
($1.50 a week for the school year)
These contributions are used towards the cost of materials, equipment, services and facilities for the following programs:
- Kitchen Garden Program
- Technology (computers)
- Arts programs (music and visual art)
- Library (books)
- Sports (equipment and competitions)
- Numeracy competitions & consumables
- Literacy consumables
The contribution can be paid in full or by instalment.

Personal Use Items List
Class requirement lists will be distributed to all parents / carers in Term 4. Parents can purchase these items from a retailer of their choice or order through OfficeMax (preferred).
The quantities indicated are estimates of what parents might expect their child to use during the course of the year. As your child uses items, parents may need to replace through the year.
Please label all items clearly with your child’s name.
